The UBD “Karies” stemms from the veterinary bill from Don Orèo, the horse I Sandra Hauser our CEO is collaborating in their project “I Would Prefer Not To”. Don and Sandra have often the same health issues and as psychosomatic tooth problems where for fours years Sandra’s biggest challenge, Don of course, had also caries. Dr. Cheve is Don’s veterinary and extrmely cool and patient when it comes to paying the bill. He is the best veterinary in the region and kind of our sustainer.

The motif of this UBD stems from an abandoned board game our CEO found in an abandoned house, which she dreams about living together with her horse Don Orèo. Hauser always goes on wanderings during which she finds her precious materials and images she then applies to her unpaid bills. An intriguing mixture of her fragile and continuously overlaying realities.

In Germany the board game “Petits Chevaux” is called “Mensch ärgere dich nicht”. Voilá.
