 is part of the EmotionRelease UBD Series.

Whenever I am overwhelmed by an emotion to the point that I can’t work anymore or do anything else, I write this emotion on a UBD until the emotional attack ends.

This action is the result of an artistic reflection on metacognition — the ability to observe your own thoughts while thinking. I translate this practice into a physical act by writing the emotion down again and again. I begin to observe it instead of only being inside it. At some point, the emotion becomes a word, the word becomes a drawing, and the attack ends.

I AM SO BORED is one of these moments. Of course the unpaid bill stays the same.
